      Hi!

I love that they are so huge! Like Himalayan balsam and Giant hogweed. They grow up to 4 metres high (that’s about 3 x the size of me) we I get lost in a field of them it feels like Jurassic park.

Alien plants can also tell us a lot about how plants adapt to new environments because these species are moved from their home countries to places that they could not colonise themselves. So a plant from a hot country being moved to a colder climate that manages to survive..pretty impressive!
