• Question: what types of alien plants do you discover ?

      Hi!

      I haven’t discovered any new plants but I have to go out and find ones that are harmful or may become harmful in the future.

      Invasive alien species are plants, animals and other organisms that are non-native (alien) to an ecosystem, and which may cause environmental harm.

      So I look for Himalayan balsam which was brought over from India to the UK. This plant is therefore an alien in the UK and it spreads like wildfire!
