I dig up quite a few fields! 😉

Science fields though – several. As an archaeologist I tend to use whatever I need to answer my questions. I work mainly with plants, so biology, especially botany, is very important, but the chemistry of plants is also important, and often I talk with people who use chemistry to look at how people/animals/plants are formed and we can analyse them (isotopic analysis – http://www.pbs.org/time-team/experience-archaeology/isotope-analysis/) or identify bones (osteoarchaeology or zooarchaeology) so have to talk to forensic scientists or zooarchaeologists. I also work a lot with soils (I’m an archaeologist – you can’t escape mud!) so geography and geology are useful for geoarchaeologists. There are loads of others as well, it just depends on what questions I am asking!
