      Hi there,

      Yeah, most of the experiments I’ve done so far are fun. You get to change their DNA and see their response to different plant sugars!

      The bacteria I’m working on they don’t have any genes to infect you, so its relatively safe. I know for a fact there are labs that work with highly contagious bacteria. In such labs many precautions and regulations are put in place, such as working in a fume hood with good sterilisation and also wearing more protective labcoats.
