      Definitely!

      Archaeology is all about team work, both in the field and in the lab.

      It makes it more interesting, you can talk to each other about ideas and problems, work it out together, share laundry duty on fieldwork, and work with music on in the lab without worrying about how everyone else feels if you are all singing along anyway!
