• Question: what made you turn to science when before you where a cadet officer

      Hi,

      In Cyprus is compulsory you attend the army cause of the tensions there are with Turkey. I won’t bore you with the details, but I had to attend the army for two years. I thought I might as well become a cadet officer during those two years and so did i. It was cool, I got the chance to train the newcomers during the second year. Though, I never considered army as a career choice. Science was what I was passionate about all along! And cooking too, bbq chicken ribs! 😛
