Well I left school at 16 and started working full time. In my early 20s I wanted to do more and always loved being outside. So I studied to get into Uni, then did my undergraduate degree and Masters degree. Because I fell in love with research I did a PhD which gave me the opportunity to run my own research project. This gave me the experience to get my job as a research scientist at Stirling University.
It was a long road but so much fun and lots of stories to tell 🙂
