I work with amazing teams! I do have my own job to do, I look at the plant remains, but the projects I work with are always great fun, and we have people who are specialists in all sorts of things to make sure we can answer lots of questions about the past. Which scientists come with us depends on what we are looking at. We all help dig, but depending on what we are working on we may have people who are animal specialists, pottery people, metal specialists, palynologists (pollen scientists), human bone archaeologists (osteoarchaeologists), people who use equipment to scan under the ground (call geophysics), and a lot of other things as well.

      Hi,

In the lab as a PhD student you work on your own, however a culture of team work exists were any member of the lab can ask questions and any can provide answers. Also there are weekly lab meetings were problems are put into table for solutions to be found. I am strongly in favor of teamwork as great stuff can happen then!
