I’m not sure if they will go to CG (the comet where Philae and Rosetta ‘landed’), but GOOD NEWS! The European Space Agency (ESA) have announced that they want to do two new comet missions!

Last month they sent in two proposals, called Castalia and Core (Comet Rendevous Explorer). Castalia wants to head to the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter and Core is going to try to land on another comet, but a bit better than Philae or Rosetta! 😉

In fact Core wants to hop about on the comet’s ice surface to look at how it varies!!

You may have to wait a bit for these exciting missions (if they get approval – no news yet) – they won’t be until at least the late 2020s, but as it is almost 2017 now, that is only about 10 years! Hop to it ESA! We’re waiting!
