      Hi,

My mum is a science teacher! She teaches chemistry and biology, and sometimes physics. She was my teacher when I was at school.

My dad was an industrial radiographer, doing x-rays on things like aeroplane and car parts.

      Hi,

None of my parents are scientists but they are always interested in learning about it! My mum is a shorthand and typing teacher and my dad works in a car spare parts company.

Even though there wasn’t a huge influence from my parents to pursue science, I still did. I thought I enjoy studying Biology and doing lab work so why not do it as a job? And now I’m doing it, i think 😛

      Hi Rosie,

No I am the only one in my family who stayed in school and went to university. I am also the only one who who studied science 🙂 My family are from South Africa and had a tough life making ends meet.

It is all about working hard and having fun.

Try lots of different things to find your passion.
